Use of Innovative practices on the Britanny Coast by plant biomass for soil
Use of Innovative practices on the Britanny Coast by plant biomass for soil
About project
The project aims at finding ways to compensate for the loss of the agronomic value of coastal soils and to restructure them in a way to recreate and maintain a living soil. Organic matter of animal origin cannot be used to amend the agricultural soils in the near-shore strip. The objective for the operational group is therefore to identify types of soil biomass amendment to adress the issue. The technique of fragmented Ramal wood is the basis of reflection and the solutions can be derivatives or new techniques such as Biochar.
