Dwar il-proġett

The project aims to find solutions for the adaptation of Douglas-fir to summer drought in Burgundy, to find ways of identifying the resilience of Douglas in a context of climate change and of designing a technological itinerary to maintain Douglas-fir in mixed forests, or to substitute Douglas with other drought resilient species. (Cedrus atlantica, Abies bornmuelleriana...), to promote the use of BioClimSol application by private forest owners, to make a carbon assessment for Douglas-fir forests depending on sylvicultural itinerary and to provide sylvicultural advice for the sustainability of soils under douglas-fir forests.
