About project

This project is part of a study by the IFPC which warned of the need to renew 2/3 of low-stem orchards in the next ten years in Normandy. It sets itself the objective of expanding the varietal range and allowing producers to diversify their production through new flavors and typicities. These new varieties could make it possible to gain new market shares in beer, wine or fruit juices. A web application will also be made avaible allowing the geolocation of introduced varieties, which producers could use to enrich data on tree behavior.
