Nutri2Cycle wants to serve as innovation engine to extrapolate the impact of farm level innovations to regional & EU level. The objectives are: - to map current flows & gaps in C,N, P cycles in the 3 major agricultural pillars (animal production, plant production, agro-residue processing). - to implement a toolbox with comprehensible indicators to measure sustainability & evaluate trade-offs between current practice versus optimized farming systems. - to assess, prioritize & demonstrate agro-innovations at pilot/full scale. -to calculate the impact of agro-innovations on regional & EU level. -to evaluate how end-consumers play a role on food chain sustainability and how this can be influenced.
