About project

The goal of the project is to design and disseminate low-input polyculture-breeding sheep systems, both for crop production and for the sheep worshop. The project is based on the complementarity between sheep breeding and field crops to reduce phytosanitary products on cereals. It aims to maximize the fodder for sheep feeding to use the minimum of concentrate, by using meadows and intercropping and to establish economically efficient sheep polyculture-breeding systems with low inputs.
