About project

The goal of this project is to bring Manech black head breed farmers and researchers together to define the methods of an innovative breeding programme. By doing so, the needs of the breeders depending on the context can be taken into account by the researchers to define scenarios of a collective selection, both in a conceptual scheme and in practical methods, to enable breeders to choose the orientations of the local breed and to define the genetic as well as technical working areas to adopt a consensual and innovative breeding programme, well adapted to the territory, climate change and breeding conditions.
