About project

The achieved results of a previous project brought promising and practictal solutions for blackcurrant producers. The major impact of climate change has been identified and confirmed the need to integrate this aspect into the varietal improvement work while maintaining the exceptional organoleptic qualities of the "Noir de Bourgogne" variety for the liquor industry. Working on reinstalling a functional biodiversity to handle pollination and pest control problems also appeared as a key point for preserving this production.
