About project

In order to mitigate the effects of excessive water stress, winegrowers are more and more resorting to irrigation. This is often done empirically due to a lack of knowledge, decision-making tools and global thinking with regard to the production objective. At the same time, the combination of fertilization and water supply is an original approach for viticulture, which a number of winegrowers are interested in. The objectives of the project are to secure annually the level of production, to establish links between ferti-irrigation and harvest management and to link ferti-irrigation models to distinct production objectives and market opprotunities.
