Chemical analysis of fresh grass for optimal cutting time
Optimizing grass harvest timing for improved nutritional value using GrassMap analysis
or
Detail description
The farmer uses weekly grass sampling and chemical analysis through the GrassMap program to determine optimal cutting times for improved nutritional value of feed. Results are available online, enabling data-driven decisions. This led to early mowing on May 12, surprising local peers. The 180 ha farm hosts 175 dairy cows producing 11,500 liters of milk annually. Expert collaboration and timely data enhance grassland management efficiency.
