Detail description

Climate change, biodiversity loss, and population growth challenge global food production. This project addresses agricultural greenhouse gas emissions through smart farming: enhancing soil health for carbon sequestration, adopting renewable energy and biogas, deploying innovative technologies, and improving animal welfare and feeding. These practices reduce emissions, boost yields and farm profitability, and support sustainable, self-sufficient food systems. Funded by the EU Horizon 2020 Programme.
