LAKTIS: Views of carbon footprint calculation experts
The LAKTIS project – Innovation and knowledge transfer in sustainability for the dairy farming sector – has received funding for knowledge exchange, training and information activities at a supra-regional level, aimed at the agri-food and forestry sectors, within the framework of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy (PEPAC) 2023–2027; co-financed at 43% by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and at 57% by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. The total amount of the grant is €326,777.11.
Detail description
LakTis is the network driving the decarbonisation of the dairy sector at a local level, connecting livestock farms, innovation and sustainability for a shared future.
This video features views on how climate change will affect livestock farmers. A group of farmers concerned about their business model are taking a proactive approach, and it is believed this will be beneficial for them.
Strategies to mitigate climate change will be proposed, and to this end, knowledge transfer will be promoted.
