VID-EXPERT is an intelligent system developed for the Spanish wine industry to diagnose carbon footprints and support climate change mitigation. Funded under the EIP-AGRI program, it operates across Andalusia, Aragon, Catalonia, Madrid, Extremadura, and Galicia from 2023 to 2025. Led by UNE, FEV, SATEC, and INTERGIA, with support from UPM, IRTA, and UNIZAR, the project received €599,444 to advance sustainable viticulture and winemaking practices.
