COCOREADO project (2021–2024), funded by Horizon 2020, empowers farmers as central actors in innovative food supply chains and public procurement. It uses a multi-actor approach rooted in AKIS, focusing on ambassadorship, good practices, and youth engagement. Youth ambassadors across Europe co-create consumer-driven solutions via the COCOREADO Training Programme, enhancing farmers’ incomes through systemic design. Regional workshops refine these solutions, ensuring win-win outcomes. The project addresses regional disparities and replication challenges while highlighting local opportunities.
