Sex separation in broiler chicken rearing to improve efficiency and reduce density

The BroilerNet project collects promising and successfully implemented Good Practices to meet sector challenges. Separating sexes by a fence in the barn reduce densities when the chickens are older and allows for more efficient management of the different capacities of growth and feed conversion between sexes.
