Task 1

Task 1.4 in the i2connect project aims to track and report the topical insights coming from the project partners’ activities and interactions with other projects, outputs, events and networks relevant to effective support of interactive innovation. These reports will be produced in month 8, June 2020 and every four months thereafter up to and including month 60. These topical insights are issues, observations, problems or solutions relevant to the support of interactive innovation by advisors who perform facilitation, knowledge brokering or other forms of support. These may be practical, theoretical or conceptual insights which have a currency which relates to the i2connect project and its ambition. These include new learnings from project 6 activities and partners active in supporting innovation through their own organisations, activities, services, networks and other projects.

The Mushrooms of Borgotaro IGP

Document

The “Mushrooms of Borgotaro IGP” are produced in the woods of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The way the woods are managed has a great influence on the micro-climate of the undergrowth and consequently on fungal production. The Consorzio Comunalie Parmensi intends to improve the commercialisation of recreational permits for wild mushrooms collection in forest through an online platform. One of the main goals of this innovation case is to have a better distribution of mushroom pickers in the forest, avoiding their concentration in specific areas.
