A tej értéknövelése: az A2A2 béta-kazein genotípus Idézet
Az A2A2 tejben az A2A2 béta-kazein van jelen, ellentétben az általános A1A1 béta-kazeint tartalmú tejjel. A bétakazein A2A2 eredetileg jelen volt a szarvasmarha tejben, de idővel a tejelő szarvasmarhák szelekciója miatt felváltotta az A1A1 variáns. Az elmúlt néhány évben több országban létrehozták ugyancsak szelekcióval az A2A2 tej vonalat, ezzel is felértékelve ezt a résterméket, melynek kedvező élettani hatást .
