Breeding practices and parasitic infestation

90% of parasitic elements (eggs, larvae, adult parasites) are in the environment (boxes, pastures, paddocks), not in horses. Sanitary measures to reduce contamination are more important than deworming. These methods help reduce dewormer use and combat resistance emergence.
