Natuurlijk samenwerken in living labs voor biodiversiteitsherstel
Living labs als motor voor duurzame landbouwtransformatie in Nederland
of
Detail beschrijving
Biodiversity restoration in Dutch agricultural landscapes relies on transdisciplinary collaboration in living labs. Farmers, researchers, policymakers, and nature organizations co-create and test ecological measures, institutional frameworks, and sustainable practices. This study explores experiences of farmers in three Dutch living labs—LLB7, the Groene Cirks—focusing on motivations, knowledge needs, and collaboration conditions. Findings show farmers are driven by long-term farm viability, regional biodiversity, and societal recognition. They require context-specific knowledge, secure experimental spaces, and integration of ecological, financial, and institutional support. Flexible research timelines and adaptive governance are critical for sustained collaboration. Successful living labs combine knowledge co-creation, tailored experimentation, and supportive policy frameworks. These settings enable farmers to advance sustainability goals through innovation and partnership.
