Preliminary Study to Characterize the Performance of Winter Oilseed Rape Varieties under Specific Technical Itineraries Using the Existing CTPS Network
This study assesses the variability of winter oilseed rape variety performance across diverse technical practices and pedoclimatic conditions within the French CTPS trial network, using tools like AZODYN, DIACOL, AMMI and PLSR to identify environmental stresses and variety-by-environment interactions.

Deskrizzjoni dettaljata
Building on the CTPS trial network of about twenty locations across the Charente-Lorraine diagonal, this research examines winter oilseed rape varieties under contrasted pedoclimatic situations and technical itineraries aimed at low-input production. Agro-pedoclimatic variability and management diversity were characterized using IFT and fertilization indices, then abiotic stresses were diagnosed a posteriori via the AZODYN model and DIACOL tool. The AMMI method and Partial Least Squares Regression (PLSR) were applied to dissect genotype-environment-practice interactions, identify ecovalence as a synthetic performance indicator, and quantify key limiting factors. The findings support varietal selection aligned with sustainable production goals under the Ecophyto R&D framework.
