Creation of sanitary barriers with the implementation of changing rooms and visits restricted to minimum required, as well as their control
The BroilerNet project collects promising and successfully implemented Good Practices (GP) to meet sector challenges. This GP describes the implementation of sanitary barriers, including changing rooms and visit restrictions which enhances biosecurity in poultry farms, reducing disease transmission and animal suffering, and providing significant economic gains.
