About project

Many legume producers in the South-east of France are involved in short-circuit and local production or direct sales. Despite these initiatives, the sustainability of their company is not guaranteed. It is necessary to identify new ways of increasing the economic value of these raw materials. The project, through the creation of new legume products, aims to encourage agri-food companies to process these raw materials. The local demand for these raw materials will encourage agricultural stakeholders to continue their production : the starting point for the structuring of the pulses sector in the region.
