About project

The objectives of the project is to strengthen the links between dairy farmers and veterinarians, to improve the preventive health management of the dairy herd through an innovative methodology, to support farmers in order to improve the consumption of antibiotics and reduce their misuse by setting up a progress plan co-constructed by breeder / veterinarian pairs. A Better preventive management of herd health will enable Norman farms to better withstand external hazards. The project will seek to balance antibiotic use without affecting the health and technical performance of the herd while improving the economic performance of the herds.
