Detail description

The deliverable 3.2 provides a comprehensive evaluation of the testing phase for all FOLOU’s innovative solutions designed to quantify on‐farm food losses. It covers two pilot case studies: tractor‐embedded video cameras for monitoring vegetable crop losses and UAV‐based high‐resolution RGB imaging for apple orchards. The report outlines data acquisition strategies, materials, methods, and data preparation procedures, then presents first results regarding field homogeneity, autonomous loss quantification and detection model performance. It discusses key successes, technical bottlenecks, policy recommendations, further steps, and planning to refine and scale the proposed solutions.
