Healthy Bee Health Research via Mass Spectrometry in Europe

Advancing honey bee health through proteomics and mass spectrometry since 2018

or

Detail description

PoshBee, a H2020-funded project based in Rome, advances honey bee health through MALDI mass spectrometry imaging and bottom-up proteomics to map peptide changes and identify stress biomarkers. The project studies biotic and abiotic stress impacts on bees, with findings on pesticide effects and colony health. Educational videos explain workflows, and stakeholder engagement is supported via newsletters and social media (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube). Visual materials feature a labelled honeycomb ('PoshBee 001A'). Findings contribute to sustainable beekeeping and policy.
