PoshBee project: bee health stressor assessment and dissemination
Participated in five key European bee health conferences and expos in 2019–2020
Detail description
PoshBee project, funded under EU Horizon 2020 (grant No 773921), studies pan-European bee health by monitoring honeybee brood development using OECD Guidance Document 75, tracking nearly 900 individuals from egg to adulthood to assess mortality and lifecycle impacts. The project engages stakeholders through five major European events from 2019 to 2020, including the International Fair of Apiculture Products, the 10th ESP World Conference, SETAC Europe, the Anses/EfSA Bee Health Conference, and EcoStack, fostering knowledge exchange and visibility. Findings and updates are shared via the PoshBee newsletter (e.g., second edition, 15 June 2020) and visual documentation, emphasizing collaborative monitoring and mitigation of bee health stressors across Europe.
