PoshBee Project Communication Strategy and Dissemination Plan

The PoshBee project, funded by the European Commission under Horizon 2020 (Grant No. 773921), develops a comprehensive communication and dissemination strategy to enhance bee health across Europe. Led by Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, the project spans 60 months and involves key stakeholders including beekeepers, farmers, policymakers, NGOs, researchers, and the public. The strategy ensures open access to results through a dedicated website (www.poshbee.eu), newsletters, social media, scientific publications, policy briefs, practice fact sheets, and multimedia content. It prioritises tailored messaging for diverse audiences using channels such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and press releases. Key outputs include standardised monitoring protocols, the Bee Health Card, and field test results. The plan includes regular dissemination activities—monthly website updates, biweekly social media posts, annual newsletters, and at least five annual conferences—ensuring long-term impact with the website maintained for five years post-funding. Verification metrics include website traffic, engagement rates, downloads, and media placements. WP11 leads coordination, with partners contributing through institutional networks, multilingual materials, and active participation in outreach. The strategy ensures sustainability, stakeholder integration, and wide public engagement using Web 2.0 tools and international collaboration.
