PoshBee Data Management Plan and Open Research Data Pilot

This report outlines the second version of the PoshBee project's Data Management Plan (DMP) and Open Research Data Pilot (ORDP), aligning with Horizon 2020 FAIR data principles and EU open science policies. It details data collection, processing, and sharing across bee health research, including field surveys, farmer interviews, proteomics data, and geospatial information. Data is stored in multiple formats (e.g., .xlsx, .tiff, .mp4, .shp) and will be deposited in open repositories such as Dryad and Zenodo, with data papers published in the Research Ideas and Outcomes journal. The project ensures compliance with GDPR, H2020 guidelines, and FAIR principles, emphasizing data security, ethical handling, and open licensing under ODC-By. All research data is made openly accessible, with exceptions for personal data under GDPR. The DMP covers data lifecycle management, metadata standards, and responsibilities across the consortium, with the coordinator overseeing implementation. The document supports open science, reproducibility, and long-term data preservation for bee health research.
