Controlling potato beetles with Bt in OK-Net Arable

Biological control of potato beetles using Novodor with Bacillus thuringiensis tenebrionis in late-maturing potato crops

or

Detail description

Biological control of potato beetles in late-maturing crops using Novodor, a Bacillus thuringiensis tenebrionis-based pesticide, is effective when applied at L1–L2 larval stages under 15–25 °C, in the evening or on overcast days. Apply 5 L per 500 L water per hectare when egg clusters appear on more than one in every three plants, four days after detection. Avoid rain within eight hours. Reapply if larvae remain active. Part of the OK-Net Arable project, published by FiBL (2017). Available in English (USA) and German (Switzerland). One-page guide via Organic Eprints.
