Detail description

The Saba brothers' farm in northwestern Sardinia implements sustainable practices including organic soil fertilization, direct seeding, and photovoltaic energy for 70% of its needs. They operate an on-site mini-dairy producing over seven cheeses enriched with flaxseed to boost conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). Products are sold directly on the farm, at the Campagna Amica market, and in a Sassari retail outlet. The farm spans 180 hectares, raising 120 Sarda dairy sheep and 800 lambs, with annual milk yields of 255–280 liters per animal. Innovations aim to increase income, reduce costs, and ensure long-term financial planning through sustainable grazing and crop management.
