Short sward grazing with dairy cows and regional product marketing

110,000 liters of raw milk annually from Fleckvieh and Braunvieh cattle grazed on 15 hectares in South Tyrol, Italy. The Gatscherhof farm produces cheese, yogurt, and butter locally, with 50% sold to regional shops, 25% to the farm shop, and 25% to restaurants. The farm integrates agriculture and tourism through experiential visits and a regional cooperation project launched in 2004, enhancing economic resilience and rural employment.
