Detail description

The Koopmans farm in Friesland, Netherlands, is part of the 'Cows and Opportunities' project, testing circular farming practices for future environmental regulations. Using the 'Kringloopwijzer' tool, 16 farmers optimize mineral flows, reduce emissions, and improve feed utilization. The 117-hectare farm hosts 190 Holstein-Friesian cows producing 9,000 kg of milk annually. The initiative focuses on sustainable dairy farming through better grassland and feed management, aiming for environmental and economic resilience.
