Twan Linssen's organic dairy farm in Limburg, Netherlands, raises 80 Holstein-Friesian cows on a fully grass-fed diet, with hay as the primary winter feed. The farm features a custom-built cowshed with a hot air grass-drying system and two large hay storage areas. A roof-mounted rail crane transports grass to the dryer and feeds hay to the cows. The system, proven effective in Austria, supports improved animal health and milk quality.
