Growing the Future of Nutrient Recycling: Advancing Research, Policy, and Innovation in Europe
or
Detail description
ESNI drives European collaboration on nutrient recycling through research, policy support, and innovation. It unites over 20 projects, including NUTRI2CYCLE, LEX4BIO, and REN2FARM, to advance technologies like stripping-scrubbing, membrane systems, and anaerobic digestion. The community focuses on improving agronomic performance, sustainability, and market uptake of bio-based fertilisers. Key activities include webinars on life cycle assessment, GHG monitoring, and policy alignment with the Fertiliser Regulation and Soil Health Directive. The ESNI Conference 2024 in Brussels will bring together stakeholders to shape the future of nutrient recycling in Europe.
