Detail description

Grazing improves dairy cow welfare and milk quality while reducing feeding costs and antibiotic use. In Poland, farmer Marian Nowak adopted rotational grazing for 200 dual-purpose cows, enhancing pasture diversity with grasses, legumes, and herbs. This shift lowered production costs, improved milk quality for on-farm cheese and yogurt production, and eliminated marketing expenses as customers directly purchased from the farm. The practice supports sustainable, natural food production and aligns with EU animal welfare and public health goals.
