Vroege of late oogst van lisdodde voor bouwtoepassing in isolatiemateriaal en platen
Transforming wetland crops into sustainable building materials for a circular bio-based economy
or
Detail description
Lisdodde is a plant that stores nutrients in its underground parts from late autumn to January. Harvest timing affects nutrient levels: early harvest is suitable for animal feed or water purification, while later harvest is essential for building materials to reduce nitrogen and phosphate content. The Pilot Productiestraat Bio Based project, co-funded by the EU and Fryslân province, develops sustainable building materials from wetland crops. Running from December 2025, it involves Biosintrum, Veen Innovatie Polder Hegewarren, Bouwgroep Dijkstra Draisma, Studio Tjeerd Veenhoven, and Jongbloed agro B.V., aiming to create a circular bio-based value chain aligned with regional and EU sustainability goals.
