Kleiweide: Nature-inclusive farming in action

Nature-inclusive agriculture in the northern Netherlands increases biodiversity, improves soil health and strengthens cooperation between farmers, the public and local authorities. Initiatives include planting forage hedges, herb-rich verges, bee hotels, nesting boxes and walking trails. The project supports meadow birds, amphibians, insects and songbirds, and promotes sustainable agricultural practices through pilot schemes, educational activities and knowledge-sharing.
