Field trials on plot leaching in Flevoland 2021–2024: the tillage tine

Field study into water runoff and soil loss on a plot in Flevoland (2021–2024). The study investigated the effectiveness of the ripper as a measure to reduce surface runoff on light loam in the Noordoostpolder and heavy loam in Eastern Flevoland. Results show that the ripper contributes to water retention and reduces the transport of soil and plant protection products. Three measures, including the ripper, have been further detailed in factsheets.
