This final report evaluates a pilot project on a points-based system to enhance the Dutch eco-regeling for sustainable agriculture. Conducted under the 'Pilots toekomstbestendige landbouw nieuw GLB' initiative by Wageningen University & Research, the project tested the system across 15 farms in the trial phase and 10 in the demonstration phase. The system assigns scores to farm activities based on environmental performance—such as nitrogen use, biodiversity, and climate impact—linked to financial values. Results show the framework effectively differentiates farm performance and supports targeted policy implementation. The report includes three annexes: the points system design, test phase outcomes, and demonstration phase results. The approach is scalable and aligns with national agricultural transition goals and EU initiatives like Horizon Europe and EIP-AGRI.
