In fact, the Melkbrouwerij was already something of a demonstration farm before it officially opened. Over the past few years, Rick and Arjuna Huis in ’t Veld have given numerous presentations and guided tours at their organic dairy farm. “We want to continue these activities as a demonstration farm in the coming years and further professionalise them. By sharing our knowledge of dairy farming combined with agroforestry and expanding our network, we hope to make a greater impact.”
