or

Detail description

This leaflet summarizes practical experiences from 24 farmers in the Betuwe region (2020–2023) implementing nature-inclusive practices in fruit cultivation. Key measures include soil management with organic inputs, flowering strips for pollinators and pest control, mechanical weed control, and ecological ditch management. Results show reduced herbicide use and improved biodiversity, with challenges in balancing pest and beneficial insects. The project highlights the importance of soil testing, selective interventions, and monitoring for effective transition to sustainable fruit farming.
