BBTs Roadmap Implementation Spain
Identification of the most suitable bio-based technologies for the Polish region through regional dynamics analysis

Detail description
The BBioNets project (GA No 101133904), funded by Horizon Europe (Cluster 6), supports the adoption of bio-based technologies (BBTs) in agriculture and forestry across six European regions. In Spain, five key BBTs were identified for sustainable management of agricultural residues: Lignocellulosic Biorefinery (LIGNO), OleoValoriza, Composta, NutriRecover, and Valorise. These technologies convert olive mill waste into biogas, fertilisers, and valuable compounds, with high feasibility scores and projected implementation within five years. The project, coordinated by Munster Technological University, promotes circular economies and value chain innovation through EIP-AGRI Operational Groups.
