Explanatory video on the AGRIROVENAT Task Force’s project concerning the use of sheep in vineyards, olive groves and rose gardens, using the induced aversion method.
Detail description
Explanatory video on the AGRIROVENAT Task Force’s project concerning the use of sheep in vineyards, olive groves and rose gardens using the induced aversion method. These developments prioritise animal welfare and health by incorporating sheep into vineyards, olive groves and rose gardens, where they feed on ground cover and weeds whilst protecting the crops mentioned above. The use of remote-controlled mowers is also being trialled to achieve the same objective as that pursued with the induced aversion method using sheep. All of this is taking place in Asturias and Galicia.
