This document presents a cost-benefit analysis of rotational grazing systems in Swedish agriculture, focusing on low initial investment, moderate ongoing costs, and significant reductions in fertilizer, pesticide, and feed inputs. It highlights economic benefits such as increased product value and agroecological payments, alongside environmental gains in feed self-sufficiency and social advantages like reduced workload and youth engagement. Supported by tools from Delaby et al. (2015), Hanrahan et al. (2017), MLA, Teagasc (2025), and the French National Technology Network’s *Grasslands in the Future*, the analysis is funded by the European Union and reflects the authors’ views.
