Optimizing manure management and fertilization efficiency through in-field conductivity measurements, hose application, and staged nutrient application. Six cooperatives in Catalonia, Spain, participated in a 2017–2019 project funded by the Rural Development 2014–2020 programme. Conductivity meters enabled precise nutrient assessment, while hose application improved nitrogen use efficiency, reduced ammonia emissions, and ensured uniform distribution. Applications during early crop growth maximized nutrient uptake. The project, coordinated by FCAC, delivered tailored advice to farmers, reducing environmental impact and enhancing sustainability.
