Standardizzazione delle tecniche di produzione dei cereali lucani

Sustainable cereal farming project in Basilicata, Italy, launched in 2018 and concluded in 2022, involving 17 partners including research institutions, farmers, mills, and agro-industries. Focused on conservation and precision agriculture in both organic and conventional systems, the project enhanced productivity, reduced production costs, and minimized environmental impacts on groundwater and air. Key outcomes include tailored farming protocols, decision-support tools, and improved product quality. Field trials and webinars supported innovation dissemination, with ongoing application of results on partner farms. Led by CNR-IBBR Bari, the project strengthened regional agricultural sustainability and value creation.
