Biobased Innovations Garden Rurstoeve: Showcasing Sustainable Crop Innovation

Innovation hub for biobased crops and sustainable industrial applications in the Netherlands

or

Detail description

The Biobased Innovations Garden Rusthoeve, launched in 2014 by Delphy and Rusthoeve, is a leading international hub for innovation in cultivating and applying new green raw materials in the processing industry. Located in the Netherlands, it serves as a large-scale demonstration field and experimental area where agricultural entrepreneurs, knowledge institutions, and industry players from construction and chemistry collaborate. Over 100 biobased crops have been tested here, supporting the development of sustainable value chains. The site was further advanced through the Interreg NL/VLI project 'Growing a Green Future' (2017), which fostered networks linking companies and institutions around product-market-technology (PMT) combinations, driving innovation through knowledge exchange and cross-sector collaboration.
