Green covers in stone fruit orchards effectively increase biodiversity, even at high management intensity
or
Detail description
To help nature on farmland, like bees and other beneficial insects, farmers can use tools like wildflower strips and green covers. These consist on using non-productive areas of the farms to plant native vegetation to attract beneficial biodiversity. We tested how well these work on real farms with different approaches to managing their land in 15 stone fruit farms in Spain.
