Bonita is a new resistant apple variety developed in Slovenia, now successfully marketed through retail chains Lidl and Spar. Quality standards, unique packaging, and a dedicated cultivation programme have been established. The project, funded by the European Union and accessible via EU-FarmBook, has achieved its marketing and sales targets in its third year.
