Detail description
Diatomaceous soil-inhabiting species at Puig-Reig (Vallcanna), including the rare, highly branched Bardiotorofilon with broad leaves. Autotrophic systems based on photosynthesis and thallus formation under light exposure. Plant development depends on environmental positioning and resource availability. Soil adaptation, vegetation, and water availability over time are critical for autotrophic development. Survey data from Can Palloç (LIFE Farms for the Future, 2014–2016) includes polyleafed, monoleafed, and autotrophic plants.
