Fencing in Kfaddébjan, Lebanon, supports landscape restoration by enhancing biodiversity, vegetation cover, and tree regeneration. The project uses individual tree fencing to combat overgrazing, with results showing improved plant height, biomass, and leafiness inside fenced areas compared to unfenced sites. A reference site in Ehden Nature Reserve guides restoration efforts, providing a model for ecological function and structure. This approach, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and NGO Jouzour Loubnan, integrates local research to optimize planting techniques and promote sustainable forest restoration across public lands.
